Forthcoming article: From Humanitarian Crisis to Marauding Hordes: A Manufactured Outcome
Jesse Imbriano is the supervising attorney at Casa Cornelia Law Center, a pro bono law firm in San Diego.
Casa Cornelia Law Center provides direct representation in humanitarian immigration applications, including asylum and related relief and protection, special immigrant juvenile status, U and T visas, and VAWA self-petitions and cancellation of removal. It is the only legal service provider in San Diego serving detained unaccompanied alien children and the primary legal service provider for non-detained unaccompanied alien children. It also serves detained adults and non-detained adults and family groups.
Mr. Imbriano directly supervises the legal work of the law firm—including a robust team of staff attorneys and hundreds of volunteer attorneys from the private bar—while maintaining an active case load. He is regularly invited to speak and provide trainings within this practice area to immigration practitioners and other attorneys, social service providers interacting with members of the immigrant community, law enforcement agencies, and the local judiciary. Immediately prior to joining Casa Cornelia Law Center, he served as an attorney advisor with the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Mr. Imbriano is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law.
